The Solsonès is popularly known as “the region of a thousand farmhouses” due to its rural image, which maintains a contrasting landscape of large expanses of fields and small hills. A mosaic of plains and farmhouses among forests is what we find to the south of the municipality of Solsona, where the passage of the GR-7 marks the route of this route at all times. During the first section to Brics, we can follow its pond and the one in l’Alzina, habitat of a remarkable diversity of fauna where the presence of birds linked to the water stands out. The route can be extended with a second section of one hour, along the GR-7 until reaching the sanctuary of the Miracle, an outstanding historical religious center declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest. The itinerary is an affordable walk that takes us to discover the southern Solsonès.
